We’re seeking an innovative, enthusiastic, experienced Physiotherapist, with strong clinical skills and a passion for service excellence in aged care.


Our rapidly expanding Allied Health company is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist- Clinical Service Manager to join our team. This role is being offered as a full time position and is directly report to the Managing Director of Clinical Operations. The main focus of this role will be supporting our operational management team, leading, mentoring and developing our allied health clinicians and being responsible for overseeing the daily operational requirements of the business to a team of over 30 allied health professionals within Victoria.

Specifically this will include:

  • Supporting our organisational vision and clinical direction with respect to providing high quality evidence based clinical mentoring and leadership to our existing and future staff and students.
  • Ensuring that our operation needs are meet, meeting with key stakeholders regarding operational performance, conducting quality based audits and ensuring that our operational programs represent best practice.
  • Carrying of staff mentoring and assisting our Clinical Educator with education programs and supporting the wellbeing and clinical needs of our staff..
  • Supporting executive management in the development, implementation and monitoring of day to day operations within our aged care facilities and contributing to service improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements within the aged care sector and across the physiotherapy and aged care sector.
  • Participate in quality improvement processes surrounding the clinical implementation of best practice and development of new and innovative approaches to care.
  • Further the strategic direction of the organisation, continue to develop and lead our team as we continue to grow and expand.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Completed extensive post-graduate education in Physiotherapy
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist
  • Minimum 4-5 years of relevant clinical experience
  • Experience in a senior management position
  • Strong clinical experience across a variety of acute, rehabilitation, residential aged care and community settings.
  • Experience identifying education needs, conducting clinical assessments, and delivering training to undergraduates and post-graduates.
  • Specialist knowledge of best practice within the aged care industry including legislative and regulatory requirements is preferred. Extensive current evidence based research knowledge base, particularly around falls prevention, chronic neurological conditions including dementia and parkinson’s disease.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage others in learning and development and cater for a number of student learning styles.
  • Experience with the development and co-ordination of an undergraduate student clinical program, including the regulatory compliance and best practice standards for clinical education.
  • An understanding of contemporary clinical and quality improvement frameworks and have a keen interest in the development of innovative clinical practices within Occupational Therapy services.
